Raymond James welcomes advisors managing $190 million in Vancouver, Washington
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Brian Harmon and David Brown to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Bill Counsman, Western division director for RJFS.
As co-founders of Vista NW Wealth Management, the advisors provide comprehensive wealth management to a variety of clients, including families, business owners and corporate executives. They are joined by client service manager, Shannon Bornhorst, in Vancouver, Washington. The team arrives from Edward Jones where they previously managed approximately $190 million in client assets.
“David and I are excited to join Raymond James, which offers the culture and infrastructure that are essential to support the kind of independent practice we want to build. In addition, the advanced technology and resources available at the firm are well-suited to complement the services that are most important to our clients,” said Harmon.
Harmon brings nearly 20 years of financial services experience to the practice. Prior to his tenure at Edward Jones, he began his career in the hospitality and sales industry. A graduate of Washington State University, Harmon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on finance.
Brown’s decade of experience as a financial advisor is backed by his professional certifications as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Certified Exit Planning Advisor and Chartered Retirement Planning SpecialistTM. He graduated from George Fox University with a bachelor’s degree in management and organizational leadership.
