David De Luca
Head of Global Equities
David De Luca is Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Equities for Raymond James. Mr. De Luca has over two decades of experience in senior roles in the equities divisions of Wall Street firms, including Morgan Stanley, where he headed U.S. institutional equity sales in NY and other regions and simultaneously ran several other desks in over six years at the firm. Mr. De Luca was co-head of NY equity sales at Lehman Brothers (Barclays Capital), where he served as a managing director for over a decade. He began his career at Merrill Lynch, where he was a vice president in equity sales. Mr. De Luca was also an associate at the New York law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. Mr. De Luca was most recently a partner in a middle market private equity firm, Vesey Street Capital Partners.
Mr. De Luca earned his BA from Brown University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a JD from Columbia Law School. Mr. De Luca is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Head of the Investment Committee at the Winterthur Museum in Wilmington, DE. He also serves on the Board of the Weantinoge Heritage Land Trust in CT. In 2011 he was named Alumnus of the Year for the St. David’s School in New York.
