Diversity Awareness Month at Raymond James
April was Celebrate Diversity Month. At Raymond James, we pride ourselves on celebrating diversity and inclusion throughout the year so our associates know they always belong. We’re proud to be committed to ensuring that our associates have a safe and inclusive work environment, where they feel comfortable to bring their whole selves to work every day. Through recognition, education and fostering of a diverse and inclusive environment and people, we’re able to put the power of perspectives into action to empower our associates and clients to enable growth and exceptional results.
Throughout the month of April, we celebrated our diversity milestones and continued to drive support for diversity and inclusion.
Our diversity and inclusion milestones we celebrated included:
- Our CEO, Paul Reilly, signed the CEO Action Pledge, which is a CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Raymond James was recognized in Forbes’ 2019 Best Employers for Diversity list.
- We’ve revamped our Employee Resource Groups to Inclusion Networks to better serve our associates and communities in which we live and work.
In honor of Celebrate Diversity Month, we put the power of influence into our associates’ hands by encouraging individuals to sign the I Act on Pledge. This is an extension of the CEO Action Pledge, which our CEO, Paul Reilly, signed. This pledge allows our associates to pledge their individual commitment to our diversity and inclusion journey and mission.
